Burgland and Gunther Wedding

Erica Burgland and Jason Gunther, both of Galesburg were united in marriage on June 9, 2012. The Reverend Fr. Bruce King, IC officiated Mass at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A reception was followed at The Orpheum Theatre. The couple had a vintage glam look for their wedding theme. The bride is the daughter of William and Jane Burgland of Galesburg, IL. The groom is the son of Peter and Mary Lou Gunther of Galesburg, IL.

The matron of honor was Tina Veal, Bloomington, IL, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Elissa Twitty, St. Louis, MO, friend of the bride; Kristin Michalczyk, Mt. Prospect, IL, sister of the groom; Amanda Egli, Chicago, IL, sister of the groom; Kellie Digmann, North Liberty, IA, friend of the bride; Wendy Nielsen, Marion, IA, friend of the bride; Jenny McCarthy of Denver, CO friend of the bride. The flower girls were Brianna and Brooke Michalczyk, Mt. Prosptect, IL, nieces to the groom.

The best man was Jordan Gunther, Chicago, IL brother of the groom. The groomsmens were Zach Davis, Brooklyn, NY, friend of the groom; Jeff Michalczyk, Mt. Prospect, IL, brother in law to the groom; Zach Egli, Chicago, IL, brother in law to the groom; David Currie, Chicago, IL, friend of the groom; Craig Reiber, Naperville, IL, friend of the groom; Sean Breslin, Hoffman Estates, IL, friend of the groom. The ushers included Jeff Michalczyk, Zach Egli, and Eric Veal, Bloomington, IL brother in law to the bride. The ringer bearer was Brady Veal, Bloomington, IL, nephew of the bride.

The Bride and Groom are both graduates of Galesburg High School. Erica is a graduate of Coe College of Cedar Rapids, IA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a major of Business Administration and collateral major in Public Relations and a minor in Communications. She is currently works for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as a Financial Advisor in Chicago, IL. Jason is a graduate of Drake University of Des Moines, IA. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree Business Administration. He currently works for Edward Jones as a Financial Advisor in Lake Forest, IL.

The couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with their families and wedding party. They reside in Chicago, IL. They would like to thank all family and friends that made this day truly special memorable for them.
