Joanna and Claudia Heaney were confirmed today at Kateri Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Mission in Exeter on June 5th during a beautiful ceremony on a lovely day!
The temperature soared to almost 100 degrees, but we kept cool afterwards at Cafe Fresco in East Greenwich. Eleven family members attended, including Grandma and Poppa Heaney, Uncle Fr. Joseph Heaney, Uncle Gary, Aunt Barbara, Grandma and Grampa Palumbo, and Mom and Dad (Beth and Michael).
It took years to get to this point, a memorable and important day in their spiritual lives.
